Another round of rain will move in during the afternoon hours. Most of it will be gone prior to the Sugar Bowl kick off, but a few showers will linger around tonight, as well.
Overcast skies will continue with a northerly breeze 10-15 mph and highs struggling to get out of the 40s today. Lows will fall to the 30s on the north shore and low 40s on the south shore.
On Saturday, rain chances finally diminish and temperatures remain very chilly. Highs will be in the upper 40s and low 50s through the weekend. The overnights will be chilly in the 30s and low 40s through early next week, but for now a widespread freeze is not expected.
