Chilly and cloudy start to the weekend with some lingering rain on Saturday. Much of it never made it to the ground evaporating before making it down.
Temperatures suffered with highs only around the 50 degree mark. Sunday morning will be cloudy with chilly conditions, but later in the day expect improvements. Sunday afternoon we will start to see breaks in the clouds with clearing from northwest to southeast. The mid and upper level flow will shift to the northwest bringing in some drier air. It will still be cool even with the sunshine as highs stay in the upper 50s and low 60s.
A few north shore locations may get down to freezing Monday morning. Look for plenty of sunshine during the day Monday, but the clear skies and light wind will allow for maximum radiational cooling Monday night. Tuesday morning brings a freeze for most locations both sides of the lake. After that expect a slow warm up with rain returning by the end of the week.
