NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Video of a pickup truck could be key to solving a burglary at a home in Gentilly on Saturday, Dec. 26.

The NOPD says video surveillance captured a tan Chevy or GMC pickup truck backing into the driveway of the home in the 1600 block of Mirabeau Avenue.

Minutes later, the truck drove away with a refrigerator in the truck bed.

Investigators say the homeowner came home and found the back door kicked in.

The NOPD is asking for the public's help locating and identifying the truck and the burglar or burglars.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
