NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Dense fog has already spread across coastal areas and the lake.
Expect the advisory to last into the overnight hours. Then we turn our attention to a cold front and a line storms that is expected to move through the area between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m. tomorrow morning. A few of the storms could be strong and an isolated severe storm can't be ruled out. Behind the storms it will be breezy and mild during the day before turning sharply colder Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Highs on Sunday will struggle to get out of the 40s. Freezes are expected across the north shore on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Highs during the day will be around 50 Monday and mid 50s Tuesday. Gradual warming by midweek with another rain chance by next Thursday.
