NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - This week Jessica Windham, owner of Camp Sweat, provides great exercises for the lower body.
Jessica is also pregnant and suggests these routines for expecting moms also.
Please speak to your doctor before starting any workout regimen if you are pregnant. Expecting moms should not lift anything over 20 pounds.
- Plie' Squats can be done with or without Dumbbells for 15 to 20 reps.
- Curtsy Squat off box with or with Dumbbells can be done for 15 to 20 reps. Repeat exercise on each leg.
- Plie' squat jumps with pulse can be done for 30 to 40 seconds. This can be done by doing open/close jumps leaning over on ground.
After you've done these routines, repeat from start to finish according to your fitness level.
