NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating two aggravated assaults from Wednesday. One assault involved a gun, while the other involved a knife.
The first incident occurred at 2:41 p.m. in the 1700 block of Eagle Street.
The victims, two men, ages 17 and 31, were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both men were taken to a nearby hospital. There is currently no additional information available on their condition.
The second incident occurred just after 10 p.m. in the 2900 block of Louisiana Avenue, a 57-year-old man was assaulted when his assailant returned home looking for a fight.
The man, identified as Robert Moses, 42, produced a knife and cut the victim.
Moses was arrested and charged with aggravated battery.
