An area of low pressure over the Gulf of Mexico will move to our south through this evening. Widespread showers are expected with maybe a clap of thunder. The best chance for storms will remain along the coast. The rain will exit the area by tomorrow morning.
On Friday look for a mix of sun and clouds with highs near 70 degrees. A weak cold front will arrive Friday night and Saturday will see highs back down into the lower 60s but still quite nice. Another weak low will track south of us on Saturday night but it doesn't look like much of any rain will affect the area. If anything, we might see some sprinkles overnight Saturday and into Sunday morning.
It will be breezy and cool on Sunday with highs in the 50s. An even stronger cold front arrives Sunday night and freezing temperatures are possible on the north shore Monday morning. Highs Monday will struggle to get out of the 40s. Another freeze north shore on Tuesday morning followed by warmer temperatures for middle part of next week.
