NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The defense has rested its case in trial of Bourbon Street shooter Trung Le.
Closing arguments could begin Friday afternoon.
The judge has told the jury to take their time and examine the evidence submitted by the state and the defense carefully.
Jurors are now reviewing the evidence in the state's case. They will then do the same for the defense.
Le is accused of opening fire on Bourbon Street in June of 2014. One person died and nine others were wounded.
Le and his attorney have claimed self-defense and the motive for the shooting.
