NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A fast-moving low pressure system dumped about a tenth to a half inch of rain mostly across the south shore on Saturday night. Sunday things start to dry out and once the clouds break, Sunday should end up being a pretty nice day.
A cold front will push through early on allowing colder air to settle into the region. Temperatures will likely stay in the mid to low 50s through the afternoon.
Get the coats and hats back out of the closet. Sunday night into Monday morning will bring another opportunity for freezing temperatures particularly on the North Shore. As we head into the week things will warm up with highs back in the 60s mid-week. The next chance for rain moves in Thursday.
