After a few showers overnight, the skies cleared and Sunday turned out pretty spectacular. Most of the day saw bright sunshine and cool, but comfortable temperatures. Highs topped out in the 50s in most locations.
High pressure will remain in control through the start of the week. Clear skies, drier air and lighter winds will allow for colder conditions overnight into Monday morning. Some North Shore locations will be near freezing. On the South Shore everyone should stay above freezing, but it will be chilly to start the work week.
The forecast stays dry until the next system approaches mid-week. Wednesday expect an increase in clouds with the next best chance for rain on Thursday.
