LSU on NCAA tournament bubble

LSU on NCAA tournament bubble

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) - LSU suffered a rocky December on the road losing to College of Charleston and Houston. The Tigers four losses in five games during that stretch put NCAA tournament hopes on the back burner.

A month later, talk of the "Big Dance" in March has returned in Baton Rouge. Johnny Jones squad put together an impressive start in SEC play winning four of their first five contest. Bunched in there was a top ten win over Kentucky at home.

Joe Lunardi's bracketology on ESPN installed LSU as the last school missing the tournament. Lunardi put the Tigers in the "first four out" group.

Jerry Palm of CBS also doesn't have the Tigers in that number, but somehow put Alabama in. The Tide sport a 1-3 SEC record. LSU as of Tuesday sits second from the top at 4-1.

These brackets will move greatly in the next month and a half, but at least the Tigers know where they stand.
