NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - One of the Pelicans biggest threats on offense won't be on the court for at least a month.
The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that Eric Gordon will miss 4-to-6 weeks after having successful surgery on his fractured right ring finger. Gordon was injured during the third quarter of last night's 114-99 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Gordon is averaging 14.9 points, 2.7 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 1 steal in 33.4 minutes per game. He is on the last year of his contract with the Pelicans and will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
