NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Less than 24 hours after guard Eric Gordon fractured his right ring finger against the Timberwolves, the Pelicans have found a temporary replacement in Bryce DeJean-Jones.

The guard spent training camp and the NBA's Summer League with the Pelicans and now he has signed a 10-day contract, according to Yahoo Sports. He was waived after training camp but during his summer tenure , the 6'6" guard averaged 12.8 points per game on 61.9% shooting.

Gordon will be out 4-6 weeks while he recovers from a Wednesday morning surgery on the ring finger on his shooting hand.
