NOPD searching for woman after argument allegedly ends in gunshots

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Police are searching for a New Orleans woman wanted for allegedly opening fire on two people in Central City.

NOPD detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 30-year-old Lenika King for two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm.

According to police, King was in an argument with two other people around 10 p.m. on Jan. 13 in the 1700 block of Felicity Street. During the argument, police say King pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the two people she was arguing with, but didn't hit either of them. King then fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle.
