BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

A Talisheek man walked away with a pretty nice consolation prize after matching all five white balls but missing the red Powerball when the jackpot was $1.58 billion.

60-year-old Charles Schweitzer, II claimed his $1 million Powerball prize last week at the Louisiana Lottery office in Baton Rouge. After taxes, he received $700,000.

Schweitzer bought the ticket at Fair City Truck Stop in Franklinton. The store received a one-time selling bonus of $10,000, which is 1% of the prize.

"When they let me know we had officially sold the winning ticket for a million dollars," Manager Lisa Dearman said, "we were very, very excited."
