NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

With the Pelicans leading the Houston Rockets 58-56 in the final minutes of the first half Monday night, Anthony Davis went up for a rebound, collided with teammate Tyreke Evans and fell to the floor, dropping the ball.

The team's training staff tended to Davis for a couple of minutes before taking him to the locker room for further evaluation. Pelicans public relations announced in the third quarter that Davis had been ruled out for the remainder of the game with a concussion.

In 19 minutes of play, he totaled nine points and six rebounds. The Pelicans return to action Thursday night against the Sacramento Kings.
