LSU players eager to impress at Senior Bowl

The 2016 Senior Bowl features three former LSU players looking to start their NFL Draft journey on the right foot.

Former Jesuit High School linebacker Deion Jones led the Tigers in tackling his senior year and wants to establish his reputation at the next level.

"Hard worker. I really want to win a championship. I've never won a championship and that's one of my goals when I'm done playing football and I'm a competitor," he said.

Cornerback Jalen Mills missed the first half of his final campaign in Baton Rouge but hopes to continue his momentum into the spring.

"I want to get my football IQ up as high as possible," he said. "Leaving for college, going into the NFL, I mean, you have Tom Brady, Peyton Manning , JJ Watt....those guys' football IQ are probably out the roof and I want to get at that level someday and try to increase it."

While Mills and Jones are more likely to be second day draft picks, offensive lineman Vadal Alexander could be a first rounder. The Georgia native has a simple outlook on his playing style "Tough, nasty, I'm a finisher. I like to get down and dirty like I call it."

Junior offensive lineman Jerald Hawkins is projected by most to be the first Tiger picked.
