NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Don't expect a break in what it costs to grab a cup of coffee just because coffee bean prices are near their lowest point in nearly two years.

"When prices go down a little bit you try to make a little bit more money for those lean days and try to save things up," said Robert Jones of the Department of Management and Marketing at The University of Texas at Tyler.

Coffee industry experts predict bean prices will continue to drop because farmers in Brazil will likely have a massive harvest this year, creating an oversupply of beans. A pound of arabica coffee beans, the type Starbucks serves to customers, has fallen about a third over the past year.
