HAHNVILLE, LA (WVUE) - The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office was made aware of a Hahnville High School student who had purchased fake hundred dollar bills off the internet and had distributed them at school as a joke.
Later that day it was learned that two other students had attempted to use the fake bills. One was used at the Sonic in Luling and one at Hahnville High School.
Twenty-nine (29) of the bills have been seized, but 71 are still unaccounted for.
