68,000 baby food containers recalled after reports of glass shattering

(WVUE) -

About 68,000 baby food storage containers have been recalled because the glass cubes can unexpectedly break.

They were sold under the "Green Sprouts" brand between June and December 2015 at Whole Foods and buybuy Baby stores nationwide. Amazon.com, Target.com, BabyHaven.com, Diapers.com and Drugstore.com also sold the recalled two-ounce and four-ounce containers for about $15-to-$20.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says it's aware of reports involving 23 broken containers. No injuries were reported.

The containers' U.S. distributor, i play, Inc., is offering a credit to customers.
