(WVUE) - After Sunday's AFC Championship Game, cameras caught winning Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning telling Patriots coach Bill Belichick that this might be the signal-caller's "last rodeo."
Manning spoke to the media Thursday for the first time since the celebration and when asked about the comments, took a wry approach.
"I don't know," he said. "I don't know if that's been confirmed or not. What happened to private conversations on the 50-yard line? I guess they just don't exist anymore. No confirmation on that. We are on to Carolina."
Manning is the first quarterback to lead two different franchises to two Super Bowls, each.
