NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police hope you can help them identify and locate two men wanted for stealing construction equipment in a motel parking lot.

Police said the men took the equipment from a 2002 white Ford pickup on Jan. 19 at the Econo-Lodge Motel in the 4900 block of Chef Menteur Highway. They said motel surveillance shows two men pull up in a vehicle, one of them gets out and is seen removing the items from the truck around 7:30 a.m.

Police said the second man left the scene, but returned minutes later to pick up the first man before fleeing the scene. The suspect’s vehicle was described as an Oldsmobile Alero or Intrigue with four doors and no visible damage or custom features. No other details could be identified from the surveillance video.
