KENNER, LA (WVUE) - Two Kenner men were jailed Thursday after police learned that they had received a shipment of methamphetamine, according to a Kenner Police news release.
William Miraglia, 21, and Lawrence Palvalos, 66, both of Granada Drive, were arrested by members of the Kenner Police Department and DEA HIDTA Task Force after the package of drugs had been delivered to their home, according to police. Detectives said they obtained and executed a search warrant and found 14.5 rams of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia.
Police said Miraglia admitted the drug belonged to him, along with a glass pipe he used to smoke it. He was booked with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Palvalos was allegedly found to be in possession of a glass pipe with white powder residue. He was booked with possession of drug paraphernalia.
At the time of the news release, both remained in custody no bond had been set.
