NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - It's been a pretty spectacular day and the good times keep rolling as we get into an exciting weekend filled with Carnival activities.
The weather will be great for just about anything you would like to get into this evening with High pressure in control. Temperatures in the upper 60s will slowly fall through the evening hours. You can probably get by with a light jacket through the evening.
The high pressure slides east allowing the winds to shift to the south. It will be a bit chillier to start the day on Saturday, but by the afternoon we will bounce back up to the low 70s. With another sunny day and the wind switching to the south during the day we will see a warmer feel to the afternoon. By Sunday we will see a few more clouds as upper disturbance moves north of the region, but the next chance for rain doesn't show up until late Monday into Tuesday.
