Workout Wednesday: Total body butt and leg blaster

Rob Jason, owner of Radikal Fitness shows us a total body worker that's good for the glutes and legs in this week's Workout Wednesday. To follow along with video, see steps below. 

Elliptical Leg and Butt Blast

The first exercise should be done on an elliptical

  • Do a 2 minute warm up on level 5

After warm up

  • Do a 10 second half squat on the elliptical
  • Then come up for a 10 second recovery

Next:

  • Do a 20 second half squat on the elliptical
  • Come up for a 20 second recovery

The third time, try holding a half squat for 30 seconds with a 30 second recovery.

(If needed during half squat 3 second break is acceptable)

For the  second round, perform the same steps backwards on the elliptical.

Quick feet Total body Fat burner

1st Round

  • Quickly Tapping on balls of feet
  • Rotating them one at a time.


Try doing 10,20,30 seconds at a time for 3 to 4 sets.
Break up each set with a 30 second light jog.

2nd Round

  • Quickly Tapping both feet on balls of each foot at the same time.
  • (no rotation)


Try doing 10,20,30 seconds at a time for 3 to 4 sets.
Break up each set with a 30 second light jog.

3rd Round

  • Quickly tap one foot at a time holding the other off the ground. Then switch feet at desired time set or exhaustion.

Try doing 10,20,30 seconds at a time for 3 to 4 sets.
Break up each set with a 30 second light jog.
