NOPD: Video captures men wanted in shooting at Canal & S. Rampart

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police released surveillance video of two men officers say are wanted in connection with a shooting that critically injured a man near Canal & S. Rampart.

Officers patrolling the area say they heard gunfire near the busy intersection around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. They found a 24-year-old man shot several times in the middle of the street. Emergency responders rushed him to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Detectives say they discovered surveillance video that captures two men linked to the shooting running from S. Rampart toward Common St.
