Man wanted for Mid-City burglary

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans police hope the public can help identify and locate a man wanted for simple burglary.

Police said the incident took place Tues. at a home in the 4000 block of D’ Hemecourt Street.

Police said at approximately 2:40 pm, the man was seen on surveillance video entering the victim’s home through a window. Once inside, the suspect stole the victim’s guitars, and other property, and fled the scene on foot.

During the course of the investigation, detectives believe the suspect’s name may be Derrick or his nickname may be D-Man and lives in the neighborhood.
