NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The man accused of shooting a Tulane medical student pleaded not guilty Thursday, along with the woman charged as an accessory by helping him hide.
There are 23 total charges against Euric Cain and Nictoria Washington.
Prosecutors say Cain shot Good Samaritan Peter Gold after trying to kidnap a woman on Magazine St.
Investigators say Cain also kidnapped and raped a couple the next night.
Washington is accused of helping him hide from authorities.
There is another hearing for both suspects scheduled for later this month.
