TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - A Gray man was arrested Friday in connection with a stabbing, according to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office.
On Friday night, TPSO received a call from a man who said he had been stabbed by a male friend Monday night and wanted to report the incident. The victim said he and his friend, Charleston Henry, 26, were driving in the 5600 block of West Main Street Monday night when they got into a fight and Henry stabbed him multiple times while he driving.
The victim managed to pull into a parking lot and Henry fled on foot, deputies said. The victim treated his injuries himself and said that he was afraid to contact authorities because he thought he had outstanding traffic warrants.
The victim received two large stab wounds to both arms. He received medical treatment after leaving TPSO detectives Friday night.
Henry was located and questioned. He was subsequently arrested for one count of aggravated second-degree battery and other outstanding warrants.
He is being held at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex where he awaits a bond hearing.
