Gunshots fired Uptown on Bacchus route

The parade continues to roll after gunshots were fired on the Bacchus parade route. The parade continues to roll after gunshots were fired on the Bacchus parade route.
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Gunshots rang out as Bacchus rolled down the Uptown route.

According to NOPD, the shots rang out just after 9 p.m. near the corner of St. Charles and Felicity. No injuries have been reported. 

Officers responded quickly, but the suspects may have ran off into the crowd according to NOPD. Officers recovered a handgun in the area and are still searching for suspects.
