NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Sewerage and Water Board had crews on the scene of a water main break in Bayou St. John on Monday morning.
Residents and businesses in the Mid-City area extending out to the Central Business District and the French Quarter experienced low water pressure.
Some hotels were affected.
Crews repaired the leak on the water main and pressure was restored around noon.
"Mardi Gras festivities and other business can go on as planned," the board said in a news release.
