A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a Mardi Gras shooting that injured two teens.

Cortell Bryant has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery and one count of reckless discharge of a firearm at a parade.

Around 4:45 p.m., two adult males suffered gunshot wounds to leg and ankle in the 1400 block of St. Charles Avenue.

Police say Bryan shot two men, both 18-years-old after an argument near the Euterpe Street and Saint Charles Avenue.

Bryant was later caught in the area while he was still in possession of a .9MM pistol.
