ST. BERNARD PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

Three oyster harvest areas in St. Bernard Parish reopen after health officials closed them because of the presence of Red Tide.

The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals says it reopened oyster harvest areas 2, 3 and 4 on the east side of the Mississippi River on Sunday. The department had issued a closure of those areas on December 11 because of the presence of Karenia brevis or Red Tide.
