NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The reigning Southland Conference regular season baseball champion Southeastern Lions have the firepower to defend their title as six of their players were named to the preseason all-conference teams.
Senior catcher Chris Eades, junior outfielder Jacob Seward, senior designated hitter Daniel Midyett and senior pitcher Kyle Cedotal all earned spots on the first team. Junior catcher Jameson Fisher and junior outfielder Ryan Byers landed on the second team.
