TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - An inmate at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Department received additional charges for incidents that occurred on Feb. 8 and 9.
Deputies were called to the jail cell of Frank Fowler, 37, on Feb. 8 after a search of Fowler's cell revealed a homemade weapon, feces in a bottle, additional shaving razors, a lighter and items used to create tattoos, according to the Sheriff's Office. Fowler was charged with eight counts of possession of contraband in a correctional center.
Then on Feb. 9, deputies say Fowler threw feces on two other inmates. He was charged with simple battery.
Fowler is currently in jail without bond and awaiting trial for aggravated rape.
