Report: Curtis Johnson lands on Bears coaching staff

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Former Tulane Head Coach and Saints assistant, Curtis Johnson, has been hired by the Bears as their wide receivers coach. This according to a report by the Chicago Tribune.

Johnson coached wide receivers for six years with the Saints, before joining Tulane for four years as a head coach. Johnson was 15-34 in four seasons as the coach at Tulane before his firing in December. 

Johnson was also a member of the Saints coaching staff that won Super Bowl XLIV.

Johnson is a New Orleans native, who prepped at St. Charles Catholic.
