Quinn transferring from LSU

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

LSU wide receiver Trey Quinn is transferring from the university, according to his twitter account:

"I would like to send a special thank you out to Louisiana State University and the opportunity they provided for me to receive a quality education while playing football," Quinn said. "To the coaches and players, it's been a blessing to have built relationships with each and every one of y'all. And to the fans, I want to thank you for your continued support and love that y'all show. But for now, I have to follow the path the Lord has set out for me. I'm glad I can say I was an LSU Tiger. Forever LSU."

Quinn caught 22 passes for 276 yards in two seasons in Baton Rouge. At Barbe high school, he set a national record for career receiving yards.
