Judge delays sentencing for Bourbon St. shooter Trung Le

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A judge delayed sentencing of convicted Bourbon St. shooter Trung Le Thursday morning.

Le's new sentencing date is set for March 4, as his attorney fights for a new trial.

A jury found Le guilty of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter in January.

Ten people were shot on June 29, 2014 around 2:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Bourbon St. One of the ten victims, 21-year-old Brittany Thomas, was pronounced dead on Wednesday. Thomas was a nursing student from Hammond, Louisiana.

Police are still looking for an unidentified shooter they say fired 11 shots into the crowd that night.
