Low water pressure in French Quarter overnight for work on a fire hydrant

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Residents and businesses in part of the French Quarter will experience low water pressure when the Sewerage and Water Board replace a fire hydrant on Monday night.

The water pressure will drop on Conti Street from Bourbon Street to North Rampart Street tonight beginning at 11 p.m. through 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Sewerage and Water Board crews will be replacing a fire hydrant in the area.

Motorists are also advised that Conti Street from Dauphine Street to Burgundy Street will be closed while work is in progress.
