NOPD investigates two Sunday armed robberies

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating two Sunday armed robberies.

In the first incident occurred at 2:37 p.m. in the 4100 block of Jumonville.

The victim, 51-year-old man, was approached by two suspects, described as black males,

who demanded his property.

The subjects searched the victim, taking his money and jewelry.

The second incident took place at 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Louisa Street and Florida Boulevard.

The victim, a 34-year-old woman, was approached by a suspect, described as a black male wearing a 'hockey type' mask and blue jeans. He was armed with a handgun and demanded victim's scooter and backpack with MacBook and iPhone.
