NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Bond was set at $50,000 for a man accused of hitting five people with an all terrain vehicle late Sunday afternoon.
Earl Guy is charged with vehicular negligent injury and first degree vehicular negligent injuring.
Bond was set at $25,000 for each charge, totaling $50,000.
Police say Guy, was driving the ATV on the street following a second line parade, when for unknown reasons, he lost control of the vehicle and hit five adults.
All of the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Following the accident, Guy tried to flee the scene, but nearby officers took him into custody, police say.
He was taken to the DWI office for testing prior to being taken to jail.
