Former Saint Malcolm Jenkins, inks new deal with Eagles

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Former New Orleans Saint Malcolm Jenkins signed a new five-year deal with the Eagles today. This is according to the team's website. The new deal will keep the safety with the Eagles until 2020.

Jenkins left the Saints in 2014 to join the Eagles. In 2015, Jenkins earned his first Pro Bowl nod after starting in all 16 games while registering career and season bests with 120 tackles, 15 passes defensed and three forced fumbles.

Jenkins was drafted in the first round by the Saints in 2009 out of Ohio State. In his five seasons with the black and gold he registered six interceptions, and a combined 358 tackles.

    Today's work was much lighter between the Saints and Chargers was much lighter. They wore no pads only shells and helmets, and they only practiced two hours instead of two and a half like Thursday.
