According to police, on Jan. 17 the Mandeville Police Department began receiving calls from local businesses complaining of graffiti. The complaint calls continued until Feb. 12.

The vandals struck first on West Causeway Approach causing approximately $3000 worth of damage to several businesses in the 1100 and 1200 blocks. A few weeks later they hit the Premier Center and Northlake shopping centers causing over $4,500 in additional damage.

Detectives were able to obtain video surveillance of the teens that helped to identify them. They are each charged with felony criminal damage.
