NOPD searching for attempted burglars caught on camera

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Surveillance cameras catch an attempted burglary in action and the video could be key to solving several other crimes in the area.

According to NOPD, an attempted residential burglary occurred in the 4600 block of DeMontluzin Street around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2016.

Surveillance cameras captured the two cars police say were used in the attempted burglary and may have been used in several other burglaries in the area. Officers are now looking for the white Dodge Challenger and gray Volkswagen Passat seen in the video above.
