HOUMA, LA (WVUE) -

Four more arrests were made last night in the investigation into several burglaries across Terrebonne Parish.

As of Saturday morning (Feb. 27) police have arrested seven suspects connected a series of residential and camp burglaries in Terrebonne Parish, including the theft of a locket containing the ashes of the victim's son.

According to the TPSO, officers located and arrested Gary Kiger Friday night in Lafourche Parish.

Kiger, 45, was wanted for a burglary on Royce Street, Pellegrin Street and several camp burglaries.

Kiger's arrest led detectives to execute two search warrants on residences in East Houma where several of the stolen items were stored.  Officers executed the first warrant at 129 Jaquin Drive, where they were able to recover multiple items stolen from the Royce Street burglary and multiple burglaries from Cocodrie and Lafourche. The house's owner, Edwin Ray Jr., was then arrested for illegal possession of stolen items as well as possession of heroin, methamphetamines and operation of a clandestine laboratory.

Officers executed the second search warrant at an apartment located at 100 Chateau Road. Inside the apartment, officers found several items connected to multiple camp burglaries in Terrebone and Lafourche as well as items from the Royce Street burglary. The couple who lived in the apartment, Isreal and Naomi Domangue, were then arrested for possession of stolen items as well as possession of illegal narcotics, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and illegal possession of multiple firearms with sawed off barrels.

Police say Isreal is a convicted felon and therefore is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

More information on this investigation, including previous arrests and suspects at-large can be found here.

Detectives are in the process of inventorying all the recovered items and will file additional charges on several of the arrested suspects and other potential suspects in connection with these burglaries.

The investigation is on-going. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-743-7433 or TPSO at 504-876-2500.
