Low water pressure in New Orleans East as crews repair damaged hydrant

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans East residents and businesses may experience low water pressure this morning as New Orleans Sewerage and Water board crews conduct emergency repairs there.

A fire hydrant that was hit by a vehicle early Wednesday morning near the intersection of Read and Haynes Boulevards.

Crews are on the scene and repairs are expected to be completed by noon.
