NOPD releases video of Smoothie King robbery suspect

New Orleans police are looking for a man who robbed a Mid-City Smoothie King Tuesday night.

Police say it happened at the store, located in the 200 block of North Carrollton Avenue, just before 7 p.m.

The suspect, described as a black male, entered the store and pulled out a black handgun and demanded money from the register.

The clerk gave up the money and the suspect fled the scene with approximately $500.

The suspect fled on North Carrollton Avenue heading toward Iberville Street. 

A nearby surveillance camera took a picture of the suspect removing a, showing a clean bald head. The suspect was also seen wearing a white and black polo shirt, black pants and was carrying a blue messenger bag.
