WASHINGTON PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

The U.S. Marshals' Fugitive Task Force tracked down a Washington Parish man in connection to a drive-by shooting.

At last report, 28-year old Alonzo Traylor was in custody in Oklahoma, awaiting extradition to Louisiana on an attempted second degree murder charge.

The Washington Parish Sheriff's office says Traylor and 28-year-old Tyrell McGowan opened fire on another car on Thursday, Feb. 11. The victim was not injured, but his vehicle had several gunshot holes.

Detectives arrested McGowan later that day in Bogalusa. A judge set McGowan's bond at $75,000.

Sheriff Randy Seal called the partnership between the sheriff's office and the U.S. Marshals' Fugitive Task Force a valuable resource. "In this case, the Task Force was able to track Taylor to Oklahoma and arrest him there," Seal said. "We are grateful for their valuable assistance in this and other matters."
