HOUMA, LA (WVUE) -

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office credits tips with helping them make an arrest in a credit card fraud case.

Deputies say they posted surveillance video from the Stage store in east Houma on the TPSO Facebook page and asked for help identifying three subjects. One man was seen charging approximately $1,000 on a credit card that had recently been reported stolen by a Houma resident.

Investigators say within two hours of their social media post, tips led them to Monique White of Chauvin. She is now charged with unauthorized use of an access card.
Tips also led deputies to Brandon Corse, 40, homeless. He was already in jail. Deputies questioned him and subsequently charged him with one count of unauthorized use of an access card.

Corse was rebooked and faces a $5,000 bond.

Terrebonne Parish deputies thanked the public for their help in the case.
