NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Down the stretch, San Antonio played like champions while New Orleans looked like a team already making off-season plans.

A 12-0 Spurs run in the fourth quarter turned an 86-82 Pelicans lead into a 94-86 Spurs advantage and they never looked back.

Eric Gordon and Anthony Davis combined to pace the Pelicans in scoring with 40 points, but that tandem was no match for the Spurs' Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge, who combined for 56, as the Spurs won their 52nd game of the season.

The loss was New Orleans' 37th of the season. They'll host Utah Saturday night.
